I respect people that take the time to learn new things on their own. I get it, college isn't for everyone. But I strongly advise trying it, or at least take the advice from those that have experienced college life and the industry successfully. Learning from industry professionals for several weeks is the best way to learn. My professors were professionals--former Art Directors--so they knew what they were talking about. I learned so much and it would be a welcoming experience to share that knowledge. It's a digital world these days, but I admit I'm a bit old school when it comes to graphic design. I love typography, branding (logos), and publication design. In short, I'm a Print Designer.
